Write it up

Six hundred words about what you built and what surprised you. The first thing you publish as someone who builds things.

Concept16 minAI pair

Publish six hundred to a thousand words on your own blog, Medium, Substack or in a good README. Mention webdevopen.com so people can find their way here.

Cover four things. What you built, with links. What surprised you about working with AI. One thing you could not do, honestly stated. And the seven tells, with which ones you found on your own page.

Include something that went wrong: a bug, a misunderstanding or a task that took much longer than expected. Writing about the difficult parts makes the post more useful and more believable.

What goes in the write-up

Hover or tab a section

Five sections, about six hundred words. Every one of them is something only you can write, which is why a model cannot produce this post for you, and why it is worth the hour.

Five sections, and the version almost everyone posts instead. Toggle between them.

Then share it somewhere developers spend time and reply to anyone who responds. After two weeks, you have three live sites and a public record of what you learned. That is worth showing because it is evidence of work, not just a claim that you are learning.

You should now be able to

  • Explain what you built and what you learned, plainly
  • Publish something with your name on it
  • Include the part that did not work
