What you should be able to do now

A short list, and an honest answer to each. Design skill is uncomfortable to self-assess, which is exactly why it is worth doing here.

Concept12 minAI adversary

You should be able to build a type scale from a ratio and defend the ratio, construct a neutral ramp with a hue bias in oklch, and say what every token in your system is for. You should be able to check a colour pair without guessing, and know the three ratio thresholds and where each applies.

You should be able to look at a screen and say which element is meant to win, whether the spacing supports the grouping, and which of the tells from lesson one are present. You should be able to give a model a visual instruction that contains no adjectives at all.

The uncomfortable one: you should be able to look at your own work from Phase 00 and list twenty things wrong with it. If that list is short, the problem is not that the work was good.

You should now be able to

  • Self-assess against the phase outcomes
  • Identify the topic to revisit before submitting
