Capture that does not lie
A screen recording at 60fps of a scene that runs at 24 is a lie you did not mean to tell. Show the real thing.
Most people who see your work will see a video or a still, not the live scene, and it is easy to misrepresent performance without meaning to: a capture taken on a desktop while the target is mobile, or a smooth recording of a scene that stutters in practice. Include a stats overlay in at least one clip, or state the device and frame rate in the caption.
Then make the still count. One well-composed frame, at the right moment in the choreography, does more for a portfolio than a thirty-second flythrough nobody finishes. Pick it deliberately, in the same way you picked the reduced-motion frame.
You should now be able to
- Record a scene honestly, with visible frame timing
- Present a 3D piece to someone who will not open the link
