Web Dev Open is a complete web development course that costs nothing to read, needs no application, and is not a trial of anything.
Who runs it
Web Dev Open is built and run by the team at OpenBootcamp. It was made for one reason: so that open education exists for people who are keen on learning and are not in a position to pay thousands for it. That is the whole brief, and it is why there is no upsell at the end of phase 00.
Every phase, lesson, chapter and game here is free. Phase 00 needs no account at all; the rest ask for an email address, which is what lets your progress, your badges and your calendar follow you from one device to the next. The only thing anybody ever pays for on this platform is an interview with a real person, and that is optional and separate.
