Behavioural rounds are not a personality test; they are an evidence test. The interviewer is trying to find out what you have actually done, at what level, with what judgement, and a story with no number, no conflict and no cost in it provides no evidence at all.

Each problem here gives the question, the probes that will follow it, what a strong answer contains, and the version that sounds fine and scores nothing.

The round · Thirty to forty-five minutes of "tell me about a time". Expect four or five questions, each followed by two or three probes that are the actual interview.
